Design & Build
The newest addition to Link Tool & Manufacturing is our Engineering Department. Employing the latest version of Solid Edge 3D cad/cam and utilizing over 25 years of experience on National to Hatebur, Sakamura, Waterbury, hydraulic and mechanical presses, and everything in-between, we can DESIGN, BUILD and DEVELOP your complete tooling package. Our engineering specialties include cold header engineering and engineering support for cold heading.
This is a total turn-key service, from drawing board to production of product. As part of this service, the customer will receive all drawings in a binder, complete with a compact disk (saved in any one of variety of requested formats).
All drawings come complete with part progressions, dimensions for each station, volume, cut-off length and weight. In addition, there will be tooling layouts for all stations with set-up dimensions and tool numbers. Press fits and in-assembly dimensions are included on individual tooling prints. After completion of the project, an update of all prints is offered.
